Twenty-five years of hands-on experience with all facets of people and financial management, three times recognized by the President of the United States for management excellence, numerous industry awards including the 1995 Federal Technology leadership Award and The Federal Applications Medal of Excellence. Recently named a winner of the 1998 Federal 100 Award as a leader who has made a difference in federal information technology.

Ten years of bench level basic research experience in chemical physics, microwave instrument development and radio astronomy. Maintained a publication rate of one peer reviewed paper every two months for ten years (60 publications). Department of Commerce, Silver and Gold medals for research excellence. Many years of active professional society participation including; Fellow American Physical Society (APS), Eight years as Councilor for the Division of Chemical Physics for APS, Six years on Board of Directors of ASTM, Board on Research and Technology Development of ASME.
